This milestone was celebrated by his family, friends and the Darwin community, and featured on the front page of the NT News. Anjan completed Cambridge A Levels in Accounting and Business Management before entering law, progressing from administrative assistant to law clerk, graduate lawyer and solicitor at one of Australia's largest national firms. Over four years he built a strong foundation in commercial litigation, banking and finance, debt recovery, property, governance, and insurance and workers compensation. He also served as the Darwin office's AI Lead, overseeing piloting and deployment of AI tools, and guiding ethical AI adoption, governance and risk.

Anjan is now a Barrister and Solicitor at Maleys, practising across traffic and drink driving, civil litigation, employment, commercial and property, regulatory and governance, technology & AI, and migration matters. He brings national-firm rigour to a broad general practice, believing that sound advice, delivered with care, makes a real difference for the Territory.

Before admission, Anjan was President of the CDU Students' Council in 2024. As a New Colombo Plan Scholar, he studied transnational organised crime at the University of Indonesia. He also received the Dean's Honour Roll Commendation and the Law Award in Equity from the Solicitor for the Northern Territory, with recognition for research on AI and autonomous weapons. A Delegate at Humanitarian Affairs Asia's 4th Global Peace Summit, he was appointed Humanitarian Affairs Ambassador for Australia in 2025, reflecting a commitment to human rights and public service. In his spare time, Anjan researches emerging law and technology, new area of laws, and enjoys the outdoors with family and friends.
