Negligently causing serious harm

The Law - A person is guilty of a crime if:

  1. the person engages in conduct; and
  2. that conduct causes serious harm to another person; and
  3. the person is negligent as to causing serious harm to the other person or any other person by the conduct.

Maximum Penalty - Negligently causing serious harm

Penalty: Imprisonment for 10 years.
